A bi-racial, bi-coastal, queer playwright, actor, and poet from San Diego, CA. They graduated from Cal State Fullerton’s BFA Acting program cum laude, and became a Russ Tutterow Fellow with Chicago Dramatists.
Their play, Man and Moon, was recently produced at Moxie Theatre and first premiered as part of National New Play Network’s Rolling World Premiere at Good Company Theatre, 16th Street Theater NFP, and Oregon Contemporary Theatre. Man and Moon is being studied by SDSU's MFA Theatre program as part of their year-long curriculum of new works about gender identity and how to teach that in schools.
The Empty Space premiered at the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David, and launched the school’s New Works Physical Theatre Initiative, followed by a production by Annie Russell Theatre at Rollins College. Inosculation was performed at the Hollywood Fringe Festival with
Sacred Fools Theater.
They have received praise for their work from Publications including Chicago Tribune, Chicago Reader, San Diego Union-Tribune, Third Coast Review, and more. They were an Uptown Poets Slam Semi-finalist and received both the Virginia Cummings Award and Richard Willis Award for creative achievement.
Much of their work is characterized by its symbolic nature, delving into queer dynamics and experiences through the use of poetic language and exploration of spacetime.
